New Things!

Céleste must be gobbling up some brain food because this past week or so has been filled with new things she's learned! She can now sign the baby signs for "help" and "thank you".  The one for "help" is not exactly as we'd taught her, but the important thing is she knows what it means, and so do we! She also now knows how to shake her head no.  If you offer her some food, or a drink, instead of pushing it away or whining, she'll very adamantly shake her head no instead.  We're liking this new change! She loves her walker and has it pretty well mastered.  She loves to cruise around the downstairs pushing it around. Her playroom is all set up downstairs now as well.  We have foam mats on the floor, her plastic play side set up, and several toys in there for her.  She can go in and out as she pleases and seems to enjoy being close to us but still having all of her toys to choose from! She's starting to do the hand motions to "Itsy Bitsy Spider".  It's incredibly cute to watch!  We're trying to catch it on video so we can post it up here. She can almost blow kisses.  Sometimes she'll do the hand to the mouth, and other times she'll just make a blowing noise with her lips, but never both at once!  We're still working on that. It's still amazing to me how quickly she learns and picks up new things.
