One of the local grocery stores has kid-sized shopping carts available. Celeste isn't quite big enough to use them, but she likes to help anyway.
The first time she ever tried her steering was quite bad. However, the second time around she really got the hang of it. I could point in the direction we needed to go and she'd manage to get the cart there with minimal impact to her surroundings.
Of course, the Canadian in her required that she stop at the Kraft Dinner (aka Macaroni and Cheese) for some browsing. And, when she found the Cracker aisle I didn't think she would ever want to leave the store.
As usual, by the end of our journey, Celeste had managed to put smiles on the faces of so many strangers and made me the proudest Dad on the planet.
