Despite the very hot Texas Summer this year, staying in the house every day is not an option. So we try to get out of the house and on our feet a little bit every day.
A few weeks ago (8/15/2009, yeah, I'm way behind on the photos). We took a trip to Lake Ray Roberts.
When Celeste first saw the ground covered in Pine Needles she was intrigued. When she heard what they were called and decided that I actually said Pine NOODLES, she decided right then and there that the two would be companions for life.

After all the hiking in the hot sun, we deserved a nice lunch that we didn't have to cook. Sonic to the rescue for Hot Dogs and Apples.
